I started the game and went straight for Pinnacle Station since I lack pretty much all of those achievements. I board the station and run up to start my first simulation, when my screen all of a sudden is filled with green artifacts.

I shrugged it off as something with the game but a thought kept nagging me since I’ve seen such things before and it’s usually a sign that the graphics chip is about to take a very long vacation. I saved and restarted the game, now it’s green everywhere and I knew I was in trouble. So I decided to restart my console only to get a flashing red light and an error 74 message on my TV.

After some investigation I found out that this is covered by the RROD extended guarantee and since I still have some warranty left I applied for repairs immediately. But I’m still going to be without my precious 360 for the coming three weeks.

It’s not so bad though, I’ve got a lot of things going on that I can use the extra time for. That coupled with the fact that I’m in the middle of the process of moving to a new apartment and thusly don’t have much time left for video games makes it something of a fortunate coincidence.

Oh, yes, I’m moving, from the 20th of november I will be living in a new apartment with my wonderful girlfriend Sofie. I’m really looking forward to this and I can’t wait to get to say ”our home” instead of ”mine” or ”hers”.

Det finns förstås en god anledning till att jag använder detta citat. En hel del i min bekantskapskrets, eller i alla fall dem som delar samma mitt intresse för TV-spel har sett youtubeklippet nedan:

Jag lämnade en kommentar till det klippet med exakt samma citat som jag använder i titeln. Detta för att killen i videon har en riktigt sjuk röst. Jag skickade iväg texten och tänkte inte mer på det. Men efter lite över en vecka så får jag ett meddelande från killen som gjort filmen där han säger följande:

”You inspired me to create a new myspace page….”

Varpå han länkar till sin MySpace. Jag följer givetvis länken och killen har fan inrett sin MySpace med grafik från just När lammen tystnar.

Jag vet inte riktigt vad jag ska säga om saken…
